the west- facing main temple in this 15th century group has four parts - sanctum, antarala, mandapa
and shrinagar -chowki- clacifiying it as chaturangi, biside shive , bramha and vishnu. the sun is reccurrent icon in the monument. the plan sugest that ther may also have been a front torona.
panchayantan means a group of five temples on one platform with main temple at the center and for small shrines at corner.

this is east -facing temple is in 10th century nagara style the main niches in the outer wall contain image of shiva ,vishnu, agni and apsaras at the ends of the threshold to the sanctum are images of kubera and ganesha the caving in the ceiling and the sculptured ston brackets notewarthy.
This type of temple , comprising a sanctum and single mandap is known as dviangi.
